A Different Booklist is an award-winning Black owned bookshop in the Annex for 28 years.
From the South to the North, Africa to the Caribbean, and Asia to South America, this neighbourhood staple carries literary gems from Canada’s cultural mosaic.
This locally owned bookshop is dedicated to curating selections of literature written by Black authors. The industrial interior is warmed by cozy area rugs and brightly painted bookshelves. A Different Booklist has a community hub feel, a welcoming space to browse and connect.
